Last night, around 1955 (7:55PM for you non-military types), I left my youngest brother at the Alexandria train station destined for his next duty station somewhere in Georgia. It was actually really hard for me to do that, because I don't get to see him nearly enough. He'd been at my house since Saturday afternoon, and it was really good to have him around. I already miss him again terribly, and I am beyond proud of him for doing what he's doing.
I've found myself thinking about my girlfriend Rachel quite a bit. We've talked every day for almost 2 months straight, in one form or another. Sadly, over the last two days, we really haven't spoken except for the occasional text message or IM, because she's been sick, and sleeping a lot. I miss her terribly, and was finally gifted to hear her voice this morning while she was walking her son to school. Thankfully, I get to see her in 11 days. Yay!!!!!!
